• Housing with thermal protector guards against misuse of insulation materials and improper lampings.
• Integral fluorescent magnetic or Electronic ballast for 13,18,26W Compact Fluorescent lamp.
• Juction box is listed for through branch circuit wiring and has seven 1/2" knockouts with true pre-outs slots.
• Four Romex pry-outs simplify romex installation
• Pry-installed bar hangers for span 24" and built-in nailers and T-bar.
• AIR-TITE housing prevents airflow attic and living areas.

Installation Feature

• 7 1/4" Height allows use in 2"x8" joist construction.
• Housing adjusts for ceilings up to 1" thick.
• Shipping insert protecters socket from paint overspray.
